1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you interact with the website located at https://www.darkromancestan.com (“Site”).
2. Comments
When visitors leave comments on the Site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized string (hash) from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture (if used) is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
3. Media Uploads
If you upload images to the Site, you should avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site.
4. Cookies
- If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These last for one year.
- A temporary cookie is set to check if your browser accepts cookies when visiting the login page. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
- Upon login, cookies are set to save login info and screen display choices. Login cookies last two days; screen option cookies last one year. “Remember Me” extends login to two weeks.
- If you log out, login cookies are removed.
- If you edit or publish content, a cookie containing no personal data saves the post ID. It expires after one day.
